Josh whipped up beignets this weekend, aka delicious little puffs of fried heaven. They're basically pillow puff doughnuts with powdered sugar, but they're French so they get a fancy name like beignets. I got the mix from World Market and it was not a bad investment. Yum!

And then for an afternoon snack, we made our very first trip to Chocolaterie Stam and continued to make some more sound investments in bonbons and truffles. Our favorite was the mocha cream, purchased in both milk and dark chocolate.
