Over the weekend

We are beginning to get to a new normal around here. We spent the weekend with family and friends, getting the first taste of winter weather while walking the Farmers Market and checking out Market Day-so cold!, getting hot dog-blocked by the mass of Color Runners on our way to lunch at Capital Pub & Hot Dog (seriously, did everyone and their mother run that race?!) and watching the Bears game.

There was also a turkey without the Thanksgiving and smores without the fire. Coupled with friends and family, sometimes food is the best remedy after a tough week.
